The Denver Elementary PTA recently held its 2021-2022 Art of Storytelling contest. This annual competition encourages students to write and/or illustrate their own books.
Congratulations to this year's Grand Prize Winners! Elizabeth Mercado, grade 5, won for her fiction novel titled
Wishful. Alanis Padilla-Nazario and Ellie Wise, both 5th graders, worked together to create the non-fiction work,
They Deserve a Chance Too. Both books will be published and placed in circulation in the school library.
