Classes at Denver Elementary rotated through five highly engaging and enriching math stations led by Cocalico Middle School and High School students. Each station focused on a different math concept that got kids to think about and make sense of numbers. Kids were busy identifying fractions using pattern blocks, creating equivalent equations using dominoes and rolling dice to practice their basic facts. Authentic math dialogue could be heard as students’ problem solved through a variety of age-appropriate math activities.
